Truly understanding other cultures is a key leadership trait in our increasingly smaller world today. With new initiatives in many states to teach Chinese, Journey offers this opportunity to interact with youth from China in a leadership training experience that gives a chance for both cultures to better understand each other’s language and customs.

Chinese youth (who are already fairly proficient in English) will spend three hours a day honing their English skills, while English-speaking youth will have the opportunity to learn Chinese. Journey’s leadership training program through active outdoor experiences will give each group an opportunity to test what they’ve learned with native speakers as well as make incredible new friendships.
